Why is it important to volunteer?

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?”

— Martin Luther King, Jr.

If you have food in your fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head, and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of the world.

Unfortunately, not everyone is born into a life of opportunity. For some people - even the most trivial things are just a dream. And now, with the Coronavirus outbreak - more and more find themselves in the unfortunate reality of hand-to-mouth survival. You might think this is an issue for the government to solve, but the truth is that not all of them are getting the support they need. They might feel like they’ve been abandoned.

But they are not alone.

We are all part of the same community. The assistance given by volunteers helps community members understand that they are been valued, that someone cares about them.

There are many organizations dedicated to supporting those in need, but given their limited resources, they have to rely on volunteers to help execute their missions.

Vee’s goal is to make it easy for non-profits and corporations to fulfill their mission to a better world - through volunteering.

We’re looking forward to a world of collaboration and giving.
